As a Criminal Justice Studies student at The American Women's College, you will gain the advanced skills you need to analyze and solve real-life criminal justice problems.

You'll learn to examine criminal behaviors along with society’s prevention methods and responses. You'll come to understand the historical, political and social context of women in the criminal justice system. And you will learn how to manage, lead and evaluate organizational goals and ethical standards.

This major will prepare you for success in the fields of homeland security, emergency management, law enforcement, corrections, probation and parole, social support, and juvenile justice.  

B.S. in Offender Rehabilitation & Victim Advocacy

As a student of Offender Rehabilitation & Victim Advocacy at The American Women's College, you will gain the advanced skills you need to help protect vulnerable women, children and families affected by the criminal justice system.

In the program, you will gain experience researching the most effective safety protocols and community social services. You'll practice assisting clients with court statements and appearances. You will learn to evaluate real-life cases, and determine and apply best practices. And you'll investigate the ethical implications of working with victims and those incarcerated in women’s jails, prisons and juvenile facilities.
